Recently Jasper was in serious brawl and got half the skin on the right side of his throat ripped off. I have been so scared and worried because I have been treating him myself. We can't afford the vet bills so I've been praying to God to help me heal Jasper on my own; to lay His healing hands on my cat and help him to get better without complications.
My mom has added Jasper to her prayer group, and they are very powerful when it comes to God's love. My mom is helping me strengthen my faith. She sends me inspirational readings and recently gifted me this book because I rarely sleep well at night. (I also have kind of a nutella addiction.)
So far Jasper has been doing much better than I expected. I pray for him daily and pray that the Lord guide me as I am treating him. He still has his appetite and rarely appears to be in pain. There is no sign of infection. I think this has been my first confirmation that there really is a God who loves me. I've never really doubted His existence, i just was more of a mind that if there is a God I'm sure He has zero time or tolerance for me. But now I can feel His presence and see His work and don't know how I ever doubted Him.
