I know the world we live in doesn’t feel the same anymore. Our feeds used to be filled with love, family, pets, milestones, laughter — all the good things that reminded us life could still be beautiful. Now it’s anger. Hate. Division. And I can’t do it anymore. My heart is tired. My peace is hanging by a thread. I’ve been disappointed over and over by people I love — people I thought had compassion and moral values. My Bad Ass Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients 1 package spaghetti pasta 1 pound lean ground beef 1/3 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil 1/4 cup fresh chopped oregano fresh chopped chives 1 egg 2 minced garlic cloves 1 tbsp onion pepper kosher salt pepper 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 can tomato sauce 1 bay leaf Instructions In lg bowl combine beef, bread crumbs, herbs, garlic, egg, and 1 tsp salt create meatballs with mixture, approximately 1" in diameter Heat olive oil in large pot over medium-low heat Add meatballs and cook until all sides are browned add tomato sauce and bayleaf simmer 8-10 minutes serve over spaghetti pasta with garlic bread Enjoy! *Most of you will want to add Parmesan cheese to taste. Ingredients: For the fried shrimp : 1 lb medium or large shrimp, peeled and deveined 1 cup buttermilk 1 tbsp hot sauce (like Tabasco or Crystal) 1 cup cornmeal ½ cup all-purpose flour 2 tbsp Cajun or Creole seasoning, divided Vegetable or peanut oil, for frying For the sandwich : 4 soft French bread or hoagie rolls Shredded iceberg lettuce Tomato slices Sliced dill pickles For the remoulade sauce : 1 cup mayonnaise 1 tbsp Creole mustard or Dijon mustard 1 tsp hot sauce 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp prepared horseradish 1 garlic clove, minced ½ tsp paprika Salt and pepper to taste Instructions: Prepare the remoulade: In a small bowl, whisk together all remoulade ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste. For the best flavor, let the sauce sit for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
