My Bad Ass Lasagne

 


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • lasagne noodles
  • 32 oz Ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 lb shredded mozzarella cheeses
  • 3/4 lb shredded Parmesan cheese
  • fresh (or dried) parsley or basil

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 365 degrees F
  2. Cook beef in skillet and drain
  3. Remove from heat, stir in veg broth and marinara
  4. Spead enough meat sauce to cover bottom of glass pan
  5. Cover with lasagne noodles
  6. Spread Ricotta evenly over pasta
  7. Spread half Parmesan half mozzarella over the Ricotta
  8. Spread another even layer of meat sauce over cheese layer
  9. Add more lasagne noodles to cover
  10. Spread Ricotta evenly over pasta
  11. Top evenly with half Parmesan half mozzarella
  12. sprinkle in some basil or oregano or a mix of both
  13. Cover tightly with foil and bake one hour ten minutes
  14. Uncover and bake ten more minutes
  15. Let rest five minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley
