Ingredients
- 1 package spaghetti pasta
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped oregano
- fresh chopped chives
- 1 egg
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp onion pepper
- kosher salt
- pepper
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions
- In lg bowl combine beef, bread crumbs, herbs, garlic, egg, and 1 tsp salt
- create meatballs with mixture, approximately 1" in diameter
- Heat olive oil in large pot over medium-low heat
- Add meatballs and cook until all sides are browned
- add tomato sauce and bayleaf
- simmer 8-10 minutes
- serve over spaghetti pasta with garlic bread

*Most of you will want to add Parmesan cheese to taste. That is fine. My family adds it after I cook it. I think it smells like the devil's asshole and personally refuse to use it myself. I dislike mushrooms and chunky sauces. Feel free to further spice up your own sauce. I keep mine to a minimum. :)
