The following photos did not make it to my website but I thought were definitely worth sharing.
I finally got further away than my scooter will take me and passed like, 3 wildlife and birding trails I will be getting back to on Tuesday when I have the entire day to explore.
Today my love and I went to the sponge docks where I have always enjoyed spending time soaking up the Greek culture, eating delicious food and visiting the curious shops all around.
I got some soap for my offsprings at my favorite shop that I always make a point to visit when we are here, Lori's Soaps. I think i even got some shots of one of their hauls before it left the boat.
Rusty Bellies never disappoints!
Check out this spice shop. They had everything you could ever imagine cooking with. I could have spent way too much time in here.
And of course there was the Candy Barrel, but a lot of those photos will be featured on my site in my new Food and Treats category. However, Scorpion Lollipop was not right at the top of my list. No, i bloody well did not. What I thought was funny is the candy cigarettes. I mean, seriously? I would put these on my site but i'm sure it would trigger someone in this day and age. In mine we walked around puffing on these like little bad-asses from the time i was six years old.
Ok, this one also appears on my website. I must be all-inclusive. Even of the disgusting and nope.
The more interesting photos of the vinyl shop are also on my site but there's nothing like stepping back in time and visiting what may as well be a record store straight out of the 80's. I used to save all my babysitting money and beg my mother to drive me to a place called Stan's Records where I grew up to buy the vinyl i was currently into. This place reminds me of that one.
We visited a rock and gem shop and some of those photos are featured on my site. This is fluorite.
And finally three random but lovely shots of Tarpon Springs Life:
