Ingredients:
- 3-4 pound pork shoulder roast
- 1 1/2 cup of water
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning (or one envelope packet)
- chopped serrano or pepper of your choice depending on level of heat you desire
Step 1: Place pork roast in bottom of slow cooker
Step 2: Mix water and seasoning together in a separate bowl and pour over roast.
Step 3: Cover and cook on low until fork tender, about 8 to 9 hours, then remove and shred with 2 forks.
Hint: Serve with warm tortillas and allow the remaining seasoned juice to be used as a dip or to pour over the pork inside the tortilla.
